Peppermint Muddy Buddies: Paleo, Grain-Free, Dairy-Free, No Refined Sugar

A peppermint, beet root powder, and spirulina twist on a classic recipe from the talentedĀ @gratitudeandfoodĀ šŸ™Œ

This recipe is Paleo, Grain-Free, Dairy-Free, Nut-Free, and No Refined Sugar.

Holiday Muddy Buddies:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup organic sunflower butter
- 1 cup organic coconut butter
-2 tsp collagen
-2 tsp beet powder
-2 tsp spirulina
-2/3 cup maple sugar
-1 tsp peppermint extract
-4 cups Love Bird Cereal

Method:

1. In a saucepan add the coconut butter and sunflower butter. Heat on low heat, stirring frequently until well mixed

2. In 2 separate medium size bowls add 2 cups of Love Bird Cereal

3. Take the sunflower butter & coconut butter mixture off the stove and gradually add to each bowl of cereal. Make sure all of the cereal is coated. Refrigerate for around 10 minutes

4. In 1 small bowl add 1/3 cup maple sugar, 1 tsp collagen, 2 tsp beet powder. In another small bowl add 1/3 cup maple sugar, 1 tsp collagen, 2 tsp spirulina, 1 tsp peppermint extract. Mix these well

5. Remove the cereal from the fridge. Mix the spirulina peppermint sugar mixture in one bowl and the beet sugar mixture in the other bowl

6. Refrigerate for around an hour. Add more spirulina and/or beet powder for more of a color pop

7. Enjoy!
